The "target" population of special vaccination programs is represented by the elderly or disabled, institutionalized, adults and children with chronic diseases (cardiovascular, pulmonary, metabolic, renal and immunosuppression).
Also, children and adolescents who are given long-term aspirin medication and who are thus at risk of developing Reye syndrome following an influenza infection will be vaccinated.

Specialists also recommend vaccination and other population groups such as workers in essential community services (customs, firefighters, police, military), as well as students, students and other people living in common areas, people infected with HIV, those who they travel to the tropics or the southern hemisphere.
The representatives of the Public Health Directorate of the Ministry of Health recommend family doctors to convince the population to vaccinate, especially the risk groups.
